Information on the processing of personal data
pursuant to Articles 13-14, Regulation (EU) 2016/679

Argotec S.rl. as Data Controller, informs you, in accordance with Articles 13 and 14 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 on the protection of personal data (“Regulation” or “GDPR”) and applicable national legislation, including individual measures issued by the Italian Data Protection Authority, that the personal data you provide will be processed in compliance with current legislation and contractual provisions for the purposes and in the manner outlined below.

2. Types and sources of personal data

The Company will process the following categories of personal data:
Common personal data: identifying and contact details (first name, last name, email address, phone contacts);

3. Purposes of processing personal data and legal basis

The personal data mentioned are processed for the following purposes:

  1. a) send the information requested by the user through the online contact form;
  2. b) send promotional and marketing communications and newsletters on products and initiatives of the Data Controller, including communications regarding market research, prize contest and events, through automated means (e-mail, push notifications, SMS, MMS) and not automated means (traditional mail, telephone operator);

For the purposes of points a), the processing is necessary for the performance of a contract to which the data subject is party or in order to take steps at the request of the data subject prior to entering into a contract under Article 6(1)(b) of the Regulation.
For the purpose of point b), consent is required by the data subject to the processing of personal data for one or more specific purposes under Article 6(1)(a) of the Regulation.

4. Methods of data processing

Personal data will be processed by the Company and authorized persons using both computerized and manual systems in accordance with the principles of fairness, lawfulness, and transparency as provided by the applicable data protection laws. The confidentiality and rights of the data subject will be protected by adopting appropriate technical and organizational measures to ensure a level of security adequate to the risk.

5. Recipients and transfer of personal data

Your personal data may be communicated to authorized persons or third parties that the Company relies on to provide specific services. These parties act based on the Company's instructions, as Data Processors under Article 28 of the Regulation. Your personal data will not be transferred to countries outside the European Union; however, if for specific needs it becomes necessary to transfer data to countries outside the EU, including those that do not provide adequate protection, the Company undertakes to ensure appropriate levels of protection and safeguards, including contractual measures, in accordance with applicable regulations, including the adoption of standard contractual clauses. 6. Data retention period

Your personal data will be retained by the Data Controller for no longer than it is necessary in relation to the purposes for which they are processed, in accordance with the minimization principle Article 5(1)(c) of the Regulation. For the processing for marketing purposes (purpose under letter b)), personal data will be kept for 24 months.

7. Data subjects rights

The data subject may exercise, in relation to the processing of the data described herein, the rights provided by the GDPR (Articles 15-21 and 77), including:

  • to receive confirmation about the existence of his or her personal data and access their content (right of access);
  • to update, modify, and/or correct personal data (right of rectification);
  • request the erasure or restriction of the personal data processing of data processed (right to restriction and to erasure “right to be forgotten”);
  • to object to the processing (right to object);
  • to withdraw the consent, where given, at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal;
  • lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority in case of violation of personal data protection regulations;
  • receive a copy of the data concerning them in electronic format provided in the context of the employment contract and request that such data be transmitted to another data controller (right to data portability).
